Cowboys' Brandin Cooks not expected to play vs. Jets, source say –

A source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday night that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks,

who is classified as questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Jets, is not expected to play.

In Week 1's 40-0 victory over the New York Giants, Cooks, 29, slightly strained his medial collateral ligament in one knee.

Cooks made his debut with the Cowboys (1-0) and had two receptions for 22 yards.

He participated in 34 of 58 offensive snaps, which ranks him fourth among Cowboys running backs and receivers.

Cooks did not participate in practice last week as he underwent rehabilitation on the side.

However, Cooks claimed to be fine on Wednesday, adding, "If I am out there, there is no limitation."

Cooks had 57 catches for 699 yards and three scores in the previous season, his third with the Houston Texans.
