Coach Darren Cahill identifies reasons behind Aryna Sabalenka's major 2023 succe

According to coach Darren Cahill, Aryna Sabalenka's readiness to accept responsibility for her errors was a crucial factor in the Belarusian's

decision to step up her game and achieve significant success in 2023.

When she defeated Elena Rybakina in the Australian Open final, Sabalenka, 25, won her first Grand Slam title.

Sabalenka stated that in addition to winning a Slam, she had another important objective for 2023:

to become the world's top-ranked player. After the US Open, Sabalenka replaced Iga Swiatek as the world's top player after spending seven months in that position.

Although she received excellent instruction, the actual reason she was able to move up was because she was putting matters into her own hands and accepting responsibility for everything.

She does not assign blame for anything. If she commits a second offense, "My fault."No, I must correct it.

I must visit the practice courts to determine the cause of my double faults.
